Some dreams begin in boardrooms. Ours began in a home kitchen.

For Sonal, baking was never just a hobby — it was the one thing she always found herself coming back to. As a child, she was constantly experimenting, creating, and finding joy in turning simple ingredients into something special. But by the time she was in the 10th grade, that passion evolved into something bigger. She knew she wanted to build something of her own, something that gave her independence and allowed her to create without limits.

When India went into lockdown, that dream found its beginning. While balancing school and studies, Sonal started Doughin It Right from her home kitchen, taking small orders with a big vision.

After graduating from school, she decided to refine her craft professionally. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu, one of the world's most renowned culinary institutes, and went on to intern at Crowne Plaza, where she gained invaluable experience in professional baking and pastry kitchens.

At just 20 years old, Sonal opened the doors to her very own bakery studio.

Today, Doughin It Right has grown into more than a bakery. It is a creative dessert studio known for crafting celebration cakes, artisanal desserts, and experiences that bring people together. Alongside creating custom desserts for countless celebrations, Sonal also conducts hands-on workshops and trains aspiring bakers, helping others discover the same joy that first inspired her years ago.

Every cake that leaves our kitchen carries the same passion that started it all — a little girl's love for baking, turned into a dream built from scratch.
